Job summary

SimoTech in Dublin is seeking an MES Syncade Engineer to join our team. You will contribute to the design, development, and testing of Syncade recipes within a large-scale biopharma manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience as an MES Engineer in life sciences manufacturing with Emerson Syncade (DeltaV MES).
• Familiarity with integration of MES to ERP, LIMS, automation, and maintenance platforms.
• Experience working within change control processes and maintaining compliant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MES recipe authoring activities and contribute to ongoing improvement of Syncade recipes.
• Participate in MES recipe testing, validation, and related configuration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create MES deliverables like design docs and validation activities.
• Support MES system administration for third-party interfaces (ERP, LIMS, automation, DCS).
• Build and configure MES Syncade functionality for equipment tracking, materials management, inventory management, and reporting.
• Assist the delivery of new MES digital capabilities and related systems aligned with site digital transformation goals.

Thisrole offers an opportunity to gain on-site experience at one of Ireland’slargest biopharma facilities as the site undergoes a significant expansion,increasing manufacturing capabilities to support the production of drugsubstances for the global market. The role is based in Dublin and operates on ahybrid working model.

As MES Engineer, you will play akey role in supporting the Digital Plant's objectives of maintaining highproduct quality and driving lean manufacturing practices. You will help ensureMES solutions and Syncade recipes are robust, reliable, and aligned withoperational and manufacturing requirements, while supporting the delivery ofnew digital capabilities and enhancements within MES applications.

KeyResponsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelorsdegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relateddiscipline.
  
• Atleast 3 years’ experience as an MES Engineer in the life sciences manufacturingindustry with practical experience with Emerson Syncade (DeltaV MES), includingrecipe authoring and configuration.
  
• Familiarity withintegration of MES to supporting systems such as ERP, LIMS, automation, andmaintenance platforms.
  
• Strong ability to workwithin change control processes and maintain compliant documentation.
  
• Good problem-solving andanalytical skills, with attention to detail in technical deliverables.
  
• Strong communication skills andexperience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
