Job summary

Life Credit Union in Ireland is recruiting a Full-Time Member Service Officer on a Specified Purpose Contract for maternity cover. The role involves frontline member service, cash handling, account opening and administration across branches in Naas, Maynooth, Newbridge and Naas Monread Centre.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will balance batches daily, promote products, handle queries, and stay compliant with Central Bank guidelines. APA/QFA preferred; strong MS Office skills essential.

Qualifications

• APA/QFA qualification preferred.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with member services transactions, such as cash transactions, account opening and operation.
• Dealing with front line and back office administration functions, including filing, scanning, data input and payment allocation.
• Balancing own batch on a daily basis.
• Promoting the products and services of the Credit Union in daily member engagement.
• Support Business Development offsite promotional days
• Contribute to the achievement of company and department targets and goals.
• Dealing with member queries on any Credit Union related matter.
• Co-operation with a manager in the development and/or implementation of new technology or services
• To be aware of and compliant with various procedures, legislation, and regulations governing Credit Union operations.
• To be aware of and comply with all Health & Safety regulations as directed by the credit union.
• To undertake such other reasonable and lawful duties as may be directed from time to time by the manager.
