Job summary

Inishowen Credit Union in Buncrana and across its branch network is seeking a frontline Member Service Officer. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to members, acting as a Teller and handling lodgments and withdrawals.

The successful candidate will have Leaving Certificate or equivalent, at least one year cash handling experience, and strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (or equivalent).
• At least one year's experience in a cash handling role.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Can work on own initiative and meet targets; works independently and in a team.
• Credit Union experience is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Teller by processing lodgments and withdrawals.
• Dealing with member queries and new member applications.
• Undertaking filing and other general administrative tasks.
• Carrying out back-office processing functions.
• General administrative duties, including telephone calls.
