Job summary

The iNUA Collection in Cork is seeking a dedicated Meetings & Events Porter to join our team. You will set up and break down meeting rooms, assist with AV and furniture moves, and maintain spotless event spaces while delivering excellent service to organisers, attendees and colleagues.

The role requires at least 1 year in a fast-paced hospitality environment, strong attention to detail, teamwork and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Team player with a positive and can-do attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and breaking down meeting rooms according to client specifications.
• Assisting with the movement of audio-visual equipment and furniture.
• Maintaining a clean and organised environment for all events.
• Providing excellent customer service to event organisers, attendees, and hotel team members.
• Maintaining the appearance of spaces which are shared between M&E and public areas.

As a Meetings & Events Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our conference and meeting spaces.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Setting up and breaking down meeting rooms according to client specifications.
• Assisting with the movement of audio-visual equipment and furniture.
• Maintaining a clean and organised environment for all events.
• Providing excellent customer service to event organisers, attendees, and hotel team members.
• Maintaining the appearance of the spaces which are shared between M&E and public areas
