Merit Medical Galway is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a clean room environment, assign work orders, monitor quality, and ensure timely delivery of products.

You will lead production teams, coordinate with QA technicians and engineers, train staff, and drive improvements to production processes while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand complex manufacturing and production information.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan and organize production schedules to complete work orders on time.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to train employees and supervise teams effectively.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing and databases.

Responsibilities

• Supervises production to meet work orders and delivery requirements.
• Assigns work orders to teams per product specs.
• Prepares paperwork and reports for work orders completion.
• Maintains clean room conditions and a healthy work environment.
• Coordinates with QA Technicians/Engineers to uphold quality standards.
• Leads production workers; provides performance feedback.
• Manages staffing: transfers, promotions, discharges per policy.
• Assesses and acts on pay considerations for employees.
• Hires new production line staff as needed.
• Gathers feedback to ensure acceptable production quality.
• Works with team to meet production and profitability goals.
• Trains leads and workers on production methods, safety, cleanliness.
• Reviews operations and identifies process improvements.
• Ensures line clearances and paperwork are completed timely.
• May perform second shift supervisor duties.
• Performs other related supervision tasks.
