Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead (METL) to support Operations in producing contact lenses within the Value Stream. You will work with Engineering, Quality and Operations to manage key areas and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires leadership, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and hands-on coaching of supervisory and operations staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role with leadership of teams.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma is desirable.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and manage complexity.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Unit with quality and engineering collaboration to meet global planning.
• Lead the Repack team to meet planning requirements and maintain safety standards.
• Lead inspections and drive year-on-year efficiency improvements.
• Mentor supervisory and operations personnel and develop staff.
• Manage projects across the Production Unit and transfer new products into manufacturing.
