ACCPRO has partnered with a well-established insurer in Ireland to recruit an Underwriting Manager (Medical & Life) on a full-time permanent basis. The role is Hybrid with flexibility to manage medical/life underwriting decisions and lead a small team in a high-volume environment.

You will oversee medical underwriting decisions, referrals, and case management, ensuring consistent standards and delivering quality service while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on a major

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical underwriting, ideally within life insurance.
• Previous team leadership or management experience.
• Strong technical underwriting judgement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a growing environment.
• Relevant underwriting qualification or equivalent experience advantageous.
