Job summary

Children’s Health Ireland in Ireland is seeking a capable candidate to support the Hospital Laboratory Department in delivering patient test results to clinical caregivers. The role requires meticulous organisation and proficient use of ICT tools in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The successful applicant will hold a Leaving Certificate, have relevant lab experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and attention to detail. CVs and a cover letter must be submitted by 18 November 2026.

Qualifications

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this post is to support the processes required in a Hospital Laboratory Department to provide patient test results to Clinical caregivers.

Essential Criteria

• Each candidate must possess a minimum of a Leaving Certificate standard.
• Experience in an Irish/European or UK Public/Private Hospital Laboratory, or a commercial Laboratory that provides Patient testing services
• Excellent organisational, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Be ICT competent (Microsoft Office including Word and Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail.
