Stryker Ireland is seeking a graduate or early-career engineer to support post-market design activities across multiple medical devices. Based in Ireland, you will investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analyses, and collaborate with Quality, Marketing, Operations and Regulatory Affairs to drive design improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Internship or project experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple activities and maintain accurate documentation.
• Willingness to learn medical device design controls, risk management, verification testing and post-market engineering processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support post-market design activities for commercially released medical devices, helping to ensure products continue to meet customer, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate customer complaints, field returns and product performance issues using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
• Partner with Quality, Marketing, Operations and Regulatory Affairs to identify opportunities for product improvements and support implementation of design changes.
• Plan and execute engineering testing, verification and validation activities to evaluate product performance and support proposed design improvements.
• Support Nonconformance (NC), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Engineering Change Request (ECR) activities while maintaining compliant engineering documentation.
• Develop a deep understanding of Stryker products through real-world engineering challenges, building expertise in product design, manufacturing, customer use and post-market performance while helping drive product improvements and influencing future product designs.
