MSD in Dublin offers an opportunity to join the Medical Affairs team as an Intern, gaining practical experience across therapy areas and working on key medical education initiatives.
You will collaborate with medical advisors, trial teams, marketing and regulatory colleagues, while ensuring compliance with internal processes throughout the placement.

This department provides clinical, scientific, and technical expertise to the organisation and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will work in our Medical Affairs team across all of our therapy areas.
Our Medical Affairs team supports pipeline assets from early phase through launch and beyond. The team works cross functionally with our global clinical trials organisation, commercial, external affairs, market access, regulatory affairs and other essential partners within the organisation. As part of the Medical Affairs team, you will work as a Medical Affairs Intern, focusing on key strategies supporting Healthcare Professionals and patients. Our Medical Affairs team engages with industry leaders and medical experts to share the scientific value of our current and pipeline products.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the implementation of our medical affairs plans. In this role, you will take on end-to-end management of projects and gain exposure to other areas of the business by working cross functionally on initiatives aimed at supporting health care professional education and projects that support access for patients. This role will work on key business activities, while maintaining compliance with all statutory requirements, internal processes, and procedures.
During your 9 month placement with us, you will gain a full insight into the Medical Affairs Department within a global company. You will have the opportunity to work with medical advisors, therapy area medical heads, the country medical director, marketing, and commercial colleagues across some of our key therapeutic areas, which include vaccines, general/ specialty medicine and oncology.
