Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of mechanical installation works across Data Centre projects.
• Manage subcontractors, specialist vendors and direct labour across multiple work fronts.
• Coordinate installation activities in line with programme, drawings, specifications and site requirements.
• Oversee mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, pipework, ventilation, drainage and associated plant.
• Coordinate closely with Electrical, CSA, BIM and Commissioning teams.
• Review drawings, RAMS and installation methodologies.
• Monitor quality of installation and ensure works comply with project standards.
• Identify potential programme or coordination issues and escalate where required.
• Support snagging, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Attend site progress, coordination and subcontractor meetings.

About the Opportunity

A leading M&E Contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join its Dublin-based project team, delivering major Data Centre projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor with strong site experience to take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination, supervision and delivery of mechanical installation works across technically complex, high-value projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with Construction Management, Engineering, QA/QC, BIM, EHS and Commissioning teams to ensure mechanical packages are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Supervisor

Necessary Requirements of the Mechanical Supervisor:

• Previous experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Foreman or Mechanical Site Supervisor.
• Strong experience within Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Industrial or other technically complex M&E projects.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical building services and installation practices.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
• Strong knowledge of quality, safety and programme requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Trade or Mechanical Engineering background is highly advantageous.
