BMD & Co Ltd in Athlone is seeking a Project Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support to the construction team, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of systems per project specs and regulatory requirements.

The role involves planning and coordinating mechanical works, interfacing with workshops, QA/QC, and client representatives to ensure quality handover and compliance with standards.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; construction exposure preferred.
• Experience in mechanical projects and site coordination.
• MSIC is desirable; but not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Provide mechanical engineering support to the construction team to ensure safe, efficient delivery of systems.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise mechanical works to meet project specs and standards.
• Prepare and review RAMS/Method statements and liaise with client representatives.
• Attend client, subcontractor and internal meetings as required.
• Review designs for constructability and resolve RFIs in a timely manner.
• Assist with cost management, progress reporting and handover documentation.
