Mechanical Engineer Dublin €50-65k

We have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a leading M&E Contractor based in Dublin where you will be part of a team working on a wide range of building services disciplines across numerous sectors.

The successful candidate will be working alongside developers, project managers, contractors and end-user clients overseeing projects from feasibility and design through to construction.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of engineering and specifications on new projects
• Maintain planning and cost control on the mechanical scope of works
• Undertake a client-facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services
• Survey, test, and report on existing electrical/mechanical installations.
• Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards.
• Oversee validation and checking of designs and specifications.

Requirements

• Experienced engineer with a recognised Mechanical/Building Services qualification
• Able to demonstrate a high level of understanding of M&E systems
• Excellent knowledge of Mechanical/HVAC systems
• Confident in talking to a wide range of people to build relationships
• Understanding of Revit and BIM principles
• Must be a good team player but able to work independently
• Confident communicator both verbally and in writing
