Job summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design from concept to completion across multiple projects

• Coordinate with clients, architects, and consultants to align design objectives

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians

• Ensure compliance with Irish building codes, sustainability standards, and best practices

• Support project planning, delivery schedules, and cost management

• Represent the company in client meetings and contribute to business development

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally with an Irish consultancy

• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and local construction practices

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Hevacomp, IES, and other relevant design software (Revit a plus)

• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills

• Chartered or working towards chartership
