Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in Carlow to deliver projects from design through construction, working with a Project Manager but with autonomy. Travel to client sites is required and a full driving license is essential.

You will generate contract programmes, undertake site surveys and prepare accurate quotations, compile risk assessments and method statements, and implement project quality control procedures while maintaining robust document control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience in a mechanical project engineering role.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certifications in a relevant subject are preferred.
• Experience in the water/wastewater sector is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering projects from design through to commissioning.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and field surveying.

Mechanical Project Engineer Carlow€45-60k The role of Project Engineer is responsible for delivering projects from design through to construction. The successful applicant will be working closely with a Project Manager but with autonomy, where you will be applying your technical knowledge and skills to ensure all projects meet client cost, time and quality requirements. Our client provides specialist services to some of the largest companies nationwide, offering a number of different avenues for an engineer to go down to progress and expand their skillset. This role will involve travel to client sites so a full driving license is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered to client requirements
• Generate contract programmes
• Undertaking site surveys, preparing accurate works quotations for client approval
• Compiling risk assessments and method statements to a high standard and fully compliant
• Implement the Project Quality Control procedures.

Requirements

• 3 Years+ commercial experience in a Mechanical Project Engineering role
• Certifications and Qualifications in a relevant subject
• Experience within the water/wastewater sector highly desirable
