Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Lead to drive delivery of mechanical systems on a major construction project in Ireland. You will provide technical and managerial leadership to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring HVAC, utilities and specialist systems are designed, installed, tested and commissioned to programme, budget and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in large-scale construction, and a proactive approach to safety

Qualifications

• Degree and relevant experience leading mechanical delivery on Tier 1 or equivalent projects.
• Valid Safe Pass or CSCS or equivalent health and safety training.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards membership (Desirable).
• Experience with GMP, cleanroom or regulatory environments (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical function and oversee delivery of all systems including HVAC, utilities, process piping and specialist systems.
• Ensure delivery aligns with programme, cost, safety and quality requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement strategies for execution planning, resource allocation and performance management.
• Oversee FATs, MEP Construction, SATs, commissioning and system turnover for mechanical scope.
