Job summary

Our client in Limerick seeks an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of a major industrial project. The role requires leadership of engineers, supervisors, and site teams to ensure HSE, QA/QC and quality standards are met on schedule.

Applicants with 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction, including equipment installation, piping fabrication and pressure testing, are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience as a Construction Manager or Project Engineer.
• Experience delivering complex mechanical construction projects incl. equipment installation, piping fabrication, piping installation and pressure testing.
• Experience in pharma, biotech, semiconductor or oil & gas sectors preferred; others in technically demanding industries considered.
• International candidates open to relocating to Limerick.

Candidate profile

• At least 5-7 years' relevant experience as a Construction Manager or Project Engineer.
• Experience delivering complex mechanical construction projects, including equipment installation, piping fabrication, piping installation and pressure testing.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor or oil and gas sectors is preferred. However, candidates from other technically demanding industrial environments will also be considered.
• International candidates with relevant experience who are open to relocating to Limerick are encouraged to apply.
• Degree in Construction, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication and negotiation skills.
