Job summary

The Lilly Kinsale site is offering an entry-level apprenticeship with the Site Maintenance Team. You will learn to repair, replace, install and maintain equipment in a GMP environment to support production activities.

Training covers Lilly Quality, Environmental & Health & Safety requirements and hands-on work with plant machinery. Successful applicants will join a structured on-the-job and classroom programme, ideal for recent school-leavers, with an interview process in July 2026 and a closing

Qualifications

Applicants must have achieved at least Grade O5 in five Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics.
Preferably one technical subject.
Entry-level, on-the-job & classroom training-based programme aimed at recent school-leavers.

Responsibilities

Training on Lilly Quality, Environmental & Health & Safety requirements.
Installation of plant & machinery.
Completing maintenance & repairs on equipment.
Working as part of Maintenance team to help perform tasks independently and as part of the team.
Work with drilling, milling machines and welding plants.
Working with specialized tools such as lathes and grinders.
Install, service, maintain, and rectify faults of machine tools, power and production equipment.
Dismantle, repair or make and fit new parts when performing plant maintenance.
Monitor equipment conditions using modern maintenance techniques.
Write reports of completed repairs.
Understanding technical drawings and diagrams.
