Job summary

Suretank Limited in Dundalk, Ireland, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operative to join our busy manufacturing facility. The role involves operating production equipment, using power tools, and finishing products with a practical, hands-on approach.

The successful candidate will have mechanical/DIY experience, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work either independently or as part of a team, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly or DIY background preferred.
• Ability to read basic drawings and follow instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and accuracy in work.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools (drills, saws, abrasives) and measure materials.
• Cut materials to size and fit modular structures.
• Assemble and fit components per drawings and instructions.
• Read simple engineering drawings and select correct parts.
• Maintain safety standards and cleanliness on the shop floor.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet targets.
• Utilise DIY skills where needed; prior construction background is a plus.
• Demonstrate good hand-to-eye coordination and initiative.
