Job summary

Suretank Group is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operative to perform assembly tasks in our manufacturing plant in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have mechanical/DIY/manual experience, good communication skills and a strong mechanical aptitude.

You will operate production equipment, read basic engineering drawings, cut and fit parts, and ensure safety standards. Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Some mechanical/ DIY/manual experience is required.
• Good communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Flexibility, attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Use power tools such as drills, saws and abrasive tools as required.
• Measure and mark out materials and cut to size per drawings.
• General mechanical fit out of modular structures and assembly.
• Position and fit parts for welding and read basic engineering drawings.
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain safety standards.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking Mechanical Assembly Operative to carry out various tasks in our busy manufacturing factory. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical/ DIY/ manual experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production equipment and finishing products.

Suitable candidates must demonstrate flexibility that is consistent with the Company’s needs, attention to detail with a strong work ethic. The roles will involve manual work in our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use Power Tool such as Drills, Saws, Abrasive Tools, etc.
• Measure and mark out materials
• Cut materials to size as outlined on drawings
• General mechanical fit out of modular structures
• Positioning and fitting parts for welding
• Following instructions issued to you by your supervisor/manager and completing them
• Ensuring safety standards are always met
• Read basic Engineering Drawings
• DIY background.
• Previous Construction Trade may be an advantage.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team.
