Job summary

Navitas Renewables A/S in Ireland is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support solar PV projects in the Cork and Dublin areas. The role focuses on keeping machinery running safely through servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance, particularly on pile-driving equipment and other heavy construction machinery.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing, minimizing downtime, and coordinating with site teams for spare parts. Travel across Ireland is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining construction or agricultural machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and diesel engines.
• Ability to troubleshoot faults and work independently on site.
• Category B driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland.
• Experience with pile-driving equipment or solar farm projects is an advantage.

Your main focus will be keeping our machinery running safely and efficiently through servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance, particularly on pile-driving equipment (ramming machines) and other heavy construction machinery.

• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines and mechanical components.

• Communicative English.
• Category B driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and work on projects in Ireland.
• Experience with pile-driving equipment or solar farm projects would be an advantage.
