Job summary

Kepak Group in Clonee, Ireland is seeking an Abattoir General Operative to keep daily operations running to meet customer demand. You will work on the factory floor with other operatives, producing cuts and trims of meat according to Kepak specifications, maintaining line speed and efficiency.

The role requires physical work, adherence to safety guidelines, and a willingness to learn and adapt within a lean manufacturing environment. Training will be provided on site.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Consistently meet production targets while maintaining the line speed.
• Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform prestart, hygiene and safety checks as instructed.
• Ensure product is of the highest standard, reporting any issues to the Line Supervisor.
• Comply with knife and Health and Safety rules, including hygiene requirements.
• Operate knives and machinery with precision and care, ensuring all equipment is handled safely and efficiently.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing processes and embrace new methods of working.
