Job summary
Curam Care Homes on Navan Rd Dublin 7 is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support a Meaningful Activity Programme for residents in a residential care home. The role involves helping residents participate in meaningful activities that enhance daily living and well-being, including cognitive and physical activities.
Applicants should have good IT skills; training is provided. Familiarity with EpicCare is desirable, and experience in caring for older people is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Experience in Care of the Older Person in a residential home is advantageous.
- Training will be provided, so prior exact experience is desirable but not essential.
- Sonas Programme Course completion is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Good IT skills are required.
- Familiarity with EpicCare is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Skills in cooking, gardening, knitting, music, arts and crafts are desirable.
