Job summary

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is seeking a part-time Support Specialist to supervise residents at Our Lady's Sanctuary of Grace, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for mothers and their children. You will support ISPs, model healthy daily living, and collaborate with the Residential Services Manager in program delivery.

Responsibilities include intake support, documentation, life skills programming, crisis intervention, and maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in case management, social services, residential care, or a related human services field.
• Experience working with pregnant women, mothers, or vulnerable populations strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Mandatory reporter training as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and oversight of residents and the facility.
• Support residents in learning daily living, parenting, and infant care skills.
• Document case notes, daily logs, and related records accurately.
• Conduct room checks and safety walkthroughs to ensure well-being.
• Participate in life skills workshops and crisis intervention within the home.
