Job summary

C&D Foods (ABP Group) is seeking a proactive Materials Coordinator to manage supplier PO creation, demand-driven material calls, and keep the MRP system updated. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication across teams on-site in Ireland.

You will participate in NPD processes, monitor obsolescence, and help minimize waste while supporting periodic OTIF reporting and working capital goals.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Experience with PO, inventory and MRP systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of Supplier Purchase Orders in conjunction with demand.
• Calling off materials based on demand.
• Constant PO maintenance on MRP system.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with all Key Suppliers reporting any concerns.
• Manage adherence to supplier consignment stock agreements.
• Participation in NPD meetings including the management of run in, run out process.
• Review quarterly potential obsolescent reviews for clearance to minimize financial exposure.
• Review ingredient aged product seeking extensions where feasible to minimize waste.
• Maintain transitional dates of BOM up to date in conjunction with the Master Data Controller.
• On site inventory management in accordance with capacity and aligned with Working Capital targets.
• Timely reporting of any issues.
• Preparation and support in periodic reporting: OTIF
