Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is sourcing a Material Handler for a Longford-based precision manufacturing company. The role runs Monday to Friday with a day shift, handling packing, labeling, and preparing parts for shipping while maintaining accurate stock levels.

Experience in warehouses or manufacturing, a forklift licence, and basic computer skills are essential for accurate paperwork and safe, organized operations.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift.

• Full, clean driving licence desirable for occasional deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Pack, label, and prepare parts for shipping; check items against orders.
• Organise and maintain the warehouse; manage stock levels and inventory records.
• Operate a forklift to unload deliveries and move materials; occasional deliveries by van.
• Cut materials, stage shop orders for production, and identify materials.

• Pack, label, and prepare parts for shipping, unpack incoming deliveries, and check items against orders.


• Organise and maintain the warehouse, manage stock levels, and ensure accurate inventory records.


• Operate a forklift to unload deliveries and move materials, and occasionally deliver parts using the company van.


• Cut materials, stage shop orders for production, and ensure all raw materials and products are correctly identified.


• Complete required documentation and update inventory systems while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
