Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and fulfil the digital marketing strategy for the property, including management of social media platforms.
• Create content for platforms aligned with current audience and to promote resort segments.
• Represent the hotel at networking events and trade fairs.
• Maintain high levels of internal and external communication in line with five-star hotel brand standards.
• Assist with managing the hotel’s website and social media content.
• Manage email communications with various segments.
• Maximise sales and marketing opportunities across F&B, golf, spa, weddings and leisure outlets.
• Ensure promotional material is current and supports new promotions.

Marketing Manager at Castlemartyr Resort

Castlemartyr Resort is looking for a highly motivated Marketing Manager to join our sales and marketing team.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a Marketing or Marketing Manager role , preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Experience with content creation.
• Target focused and enjoys a challenging & fun, never boring work dynamic
• Good communicator who enjoys meeting with new people and embracing new opportunities
• Creative thinker who is a problem solver not creator
• Self-motivator, organised, who can work independently but with clear direction from the senior management team.
• A proven track record in group and event conversion, as well as achieving sales targets.
• This role will involve travel; candidates must have access to a car for work & hold a full, clean drivers licence and be willing to travel overseas from time to time.

Duties include but are not exclusive to:

• Responsible for the development and fulfilment of the digital marketing strategy for the property includingmanagement of social media platforms in line with the differentiating target audiences
• Responsible for the creation of content for platforms in line with current audience and target audience and to promptly promote the segments of the Resort.
• Represent the hotel at networking events and trade fairs
• Maintain the highest level of communication internally and externally in line with the five-star hotel brand standards
• Assist with managing the content of the hotel’s website and social media platforms
• Manage email communication with the various segments
• Ensure all F&B outlets, golf, spa, weddings and leisure centre are being presented to the market appropriately, maximising sales and marketing opportunities for each of these outlets.
• Ensure that all promotional material is current, effective and supports any new sales and marketing promotions.
