Job summary

Arup in Dublin is offering an early careers placement in Maritime Engineering. You will join a global team delivering sustainable solutions for ports, marinas, offshore energy and coastal protection.

As a student pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, you will conduct site visits, perform computations and data analyses, and prepare technical reports and presentations. Collaborative work with colleagues worldwide is encouraged.

The Opportunity

Our Maritime Engineering Teams at Arup work on the design and delivery of sustainable solutions on a wide range of international maritime projects such as ports, marinas, offshore energy and coastal protection projects and support multi-disciplinary projects.

During the work placement you will work both, collaboratively and independently within the team, with the ability to work with other Arup colleagues around the globe through our various technology solutions. Conduct site visits and investigations. Undertake computations and data analysis and prepare technical reports and presentations. Participate in meetings with the client, other consultants and/or contractors.
