Job summary

MSD Ireland in Dunboyne is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Excellence Lead to steer Downstream operations within Integrated Process Teams, focusing on data-driven scheduling, changeovers, audits and continuous improvement.

You will lead a high-performing team, model safety and quality, and partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver site goals while ensuring cGMP compliance and Right First Time execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-based discipline (minimum).
• Master’s degree is desirable.
• 5+ years of experience in Pharma/Biopharma or related industry preferred.
• Experience in GMP/regulated environments is required.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing technical team.
• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety.
• Manage and optimize production schedules and changeovers.
• Ensure site procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Lead complex investigations related to safety, quality, and performance.
• Support CAPAs, deviations, and change controls.
