Job summary

MSD in Dunboyne, Co. Meath, invites applications for a Downstream Technical Operations Manager.

You will oversee a team of engineers and scientists across chromatography, filtration and formulation, owning end-to-end technical accountability for a complex biologics programme and manufacturing support. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will drive technology transfer, process improvement, risk management and strategic execution, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Level 8) in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Six years' experience in a biologics drug substance environment.
• Technical expertise in upstream and/or downstream purification unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and scientists within the MS&T department.
• Lead technology transfer activities for clinical and commercial projects.
• Develop strategies for technology transfer and process activities in line with regulatory standards.
• Act as a process subject matter expert for investigations and guidance.
