Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Ireland invites motivated Engineering or Science students to join its Internship Programme as Manufacturing Support and Engineering Intern. You will work across Manufacturing Support and Manufacturing Engineering, gaining hands-on experience with process improvements, change controls, CAPAs and tech transfers.

The program offers six, nine or twelve month placements, potential academic credit, and a collaborative environment that values inclusion and development.

Responsibilities

  • Become the first Line for Manufacturing Support & Co‑ordination, Continuous Improvement, Continuous Innovation.
  • Help identify process improvement projects and lead projects to completion.
  • Assist in drafting process impact assessments to support investigation closure.
  • Assist in drafting change controls, CAPA’s, investigations, improvement projects and operational safety.
  • Drafting of Operations procedures, electronic batch records and other GMP documentation and provide technical training and knowledge transfer to the Operations team.
  • Multiproduct and product changeover: implementing new product introductions from an Operations perspective.
  • Support introduction of new products to Manufacturing.
  • Lead and implement new technology solutions such as Single‑Use‑Systems.

During your placement as Manufacturing Support and Engineering Intern you will get experience of working with one of our Manufacturing Support and Manufacturing Engineering functions and you will get exposure to various Manufacturing activities such as:

  • Become the first Line for Manufacturing Support & Co‑ordination, Continuous Improvement, Continuous Innovation.
  • Help identify process improvement projects and lead projects to completion.
  • Assist in drafting process impact assessments to support investigation closure.
  • Assist in drafting change controls, CAPA’s, investigations, improvement projects and operational safety.
  • Minimize human error and work with operations to remove sources of error.
  • Drafting of Operations procedures, electronic batch records and other GMP documentation and provide technical training and knowledge transfer to the Operations team.
  • Multiproduct and product changeover: implementing new product introductions from an Operations perspective.
  • Support introduction of new products to Manufacturing.
  • Lead and implement new technology solutions such as Single‑Use‑Systems.
  • Supporting Sustaining Operations on Process/Equipment issues Delivery of Continuous Process Improvements on Process/Equipment Process/Engineering changes in support Tech Transfers and New Product Introductions

Compensation Overview: 2, 213.90 € per month Pay for this internship/co‑op position is provided in accordance with local market practices and applicable laws. Pay may be offered as an hourly rate and/or monthly stipend, or other locally compliant structure. Pay is determined based on objective factors such as academic level, relevant experience, skills, and work location. Eligibility and offerings are governed by applicable policies and employment regulations.

  • Interns and co‑op participants may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location, and local requirements.
