Responsibilities

  • Actively participate and contribute to the MS&T team deliverables for 2026, including late stage process characterisation and product transfers.
  • Support product technical transfers and evaluate new process technologies using scale-down models and data.
  • Apply knowledge of protein structure, chromatography principles and membrane/filtration science to purification projects.
  • Prepare solutions required for protein purification unit operations.
  • Lead the design and execution of experiments on purification unit operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as required.
  • Generate and analyse data, and disseminate findings.
  • Provide technical support by troubleshooting manufacturing-scale process problems.
  • Assist in writing technical documents, protocols and reports.

Position Summary

During your placement as Manufacturing Science & Technology Intern you will get experience of working with one of our Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) Upstream (Cell Culture) and Downstream (Purification) teams and you will get exposure to various MS&T activities such as:

  • Actively participate and contribute to the MS&T team deliverables for 2026 including late stage process characterisation and supporting product technical transfers
  • Support of product technical transfers, Evaluation of new process technologies through the use of scale-down models and in depth understanding of data from manufacturing
  • Applying knowledge of protein structure and conformation, chromatography principles and membrane and filtration science to purification projects.
  • Preparation of solutions required for protein purification unit operations.
  • Lead the design and execution of experiments on protein purification unit operations.
  • Linking with other support functions as required.
  • Data generation, analysis and dissemination.
  • Provide technical support to Manufacturing Technology (MT) group by trouble‑shooting manufacturing‑scale process problems through experimental investigations.
  • Assist in the writing of technical documents, preparation of study protocols and reports
  • Participate in cross‑functional teams.

Compensation Overview

2213.90 € per month

Pay for this internship/co‑op position is provided in accordance with local market practices and applicable laws. Pay may be offered as an hourly rate and/or monthly stipend, or other locally compliant structure. Pay is determined based on objective factors such as academic level, relevant experience, skills, and work location. Interns and co‑op participants may be eligible for limited benefits depending on program structure, work location, and local requirements. Eligibility and offerings are governed by applicable policies and employment regulations. This is a temporary, time‑bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co‑op program and does not guarantee continued or permanent employment following program completion.
