Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Limerick, Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Reliability Technician to provide frontline support, resolve systemic equipment issues, and improve yield and uptime across lens production lines. You will lead IPC projects, validate equipment in an FDA-regulated environment, and publish troubleshooting documentation while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Level 6 Diploma/Certificate in Technical, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline is required.
• Experience in a process technician or related manufacturing role is required.
• Level 7 or 8 engineering qualification is desirable.
• Familiarity with equipment validation in an FDA regulated environment.
• Subject Matter Expert on 2-3 Core technologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and support the design, installation and improvement of the lens production processes and equipment.
• Edits and publishes troubleshooting documentation and training materials for materials and equipment.
• Apply analytical problem-solving to identify improvements and yield enhancements.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines on troubleshooting methods for equipment and processes.
• Identify and lead cost and technical improvements under IPC programs on current technologies.
