Qualifications

  • Level 6 diploma/certificate in technical, mechanical, electrical or related discipline.
  • Experience in a process technician or related manufacturing role.
  • Level 7 or 8 engineering qualification desirable.
  • Familiarity with equipment validation in an FDA regulated environment
  • Subject Matter Expert on 2-3 Core technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to apply scientific and data-driven problem-solving techniques to improve productivity and yield.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and support the design, installation and improvement of the lens production processes and equipment.
  • Edits and publishes troubleshooting documentation and training materials for materials, and equipment.
  • Strong analytical approach to problem solving and brings innovative solutions to equipment.
  • Works closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of troubleshooting methods to equipment and processes.
  • Identify and lead cost and technical improvements under the departments’ Intrinsic Process Capability program on current technologies.
  • Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities.
  • Actively interfacing with cross-functional team members, always practicing good teamwork in support of day-to-day operating requirements
  • Develop and maintain a Credo & Behavioural Standards based culture within the group.
  • Support the implementation of all engineering and plant strategic initiatives.
  • All employees are responsible for minimizing both the Environmental and Health & Safety effects of the work that they perform.

We are searching for the best talent for the Manufacturing Reliability Technician role to be in Limerick, Ireland.

Purpose:

The Manufacturing Reliability Technician provides frontline support in resolving systemic manufacturing equipment issues, improving equipment reliability, and eliminating factors that negatively impact yield, cycle time, and uptime. The role also supports the implementation of Intrinsic Process Capability (IPC) projects across current manufacturing technologies.

As a Manufacturing Reliability Technician, You Will
