Medtronic Ireland is seeking an IT Technologist to enable Global Operations & Supply Chain manufacturing performance by providing day-to-day onsite IT support for GOSC sites (Parkmore, Athlone and Mervue). You will ensure high availability of manufacturing-critical systems and collaborate with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams.

Qualificações

• Minimum NFQ level 8 Degree in Information Technology or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
• Minimum 2 years’ deskside support experience or equivalent professional experience
• Proven IT support experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
• Experience with manufacturing systems (MES/ERP) is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IT service management and ticketing processes

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite day-to-day IT support for GOSC manufacturing sites, ensuring high availability and performance of manufacturing-critical systems
• Support IT elements of manufacturing applications including MES, shop floor systems, labelling applications, equipment interfaces
• Act as the primary IT contact for site-based manufacturing, quality, and operations teams
• Respond to incidents and requests via ServiceNow and the service desk, owning incidents locally
• Support IT infrastructure and connectivity within the manufacturing/ OT environment
• Document system designs and parameters, ensuring compatibility and capacity planning
• Incident, Change & Problem Management; troubleshoot manufacturing issues
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
