Job summary

Chameleon Colour Systems Ltd. in Tuam, Ireland, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our hands-on production team.

You will test, analyze and improve components and machines, work with cross-functional teams, and maintain documentation and BOMs on the shop floor. The ideal candidate holds a Level 6 certificate in Mechanical/Production/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, has strong problem solving and communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate level 6 in Mechanical, Production, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude; SolidWorks experience is an advantage but training provided.
• Demonstrated mechanical and/or electrical problem solving skills.
• Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and analysis on components, finished machines and systems to ensure optimal performance, quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and records & work instructions, bills of materials etc.
