Job summary

Element Six in Shannon, Ireland invites a Cost Accountant to join our Global Costing Finance Team, reporting to the Cost Accounting Manager. You will support costing for HPHT and CVD operations, budgeting and forecasting, and variance analysis, helping leadership with informed decisions.

Based at the Shannon site, you will work with production, finance and commercial teams to ensure accurate costing data and robust reporting.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with solid post-qualification experience in costing.
Certified Management Accountant is preferred.
Proficient in Excel; experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP.
Strong analytical skills and commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

Maintain standard costing processes, BOMs, material costs and routing times.
Deliver accurate month-end activities, including variances and reporting.
Reconcile inventories to the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
Produce weekly/monthly management reports and dashboards for performance insight.
Develop costing models, scenarios and sensitivity analyses for decision support.
Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for manufacturing/operational needs.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain and leadership to drive improvements.
