Role

Reporting to the Ireland Transfer Agency Reconciliations, Settlements and Banking Services Manager, the Settlements Team Manager will lead a multi‑location team responsible for the end‑to‑end oversight of Transfer Agency Payment Activities, ensuring all investor transactions are executed accurately within strict deadlines and in full compliance with regulatory, client and internal control requirements.

The role provides operational leadership across Ireland and offshore teams with accountability for risk, controls, service delivery and continuous improvement.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day‑to‑day delivery of payment processing in adherence with Anti‑Money Laundering/Data Protection and Regulatory Reporting standards
  • Ensure all payments are completed accurately and within defined currency and cut‑off deadlines
  • Oversee daily processing, queues and exceptions
  • Drive adherence to client SLAs and internal KPIs
  • Develop and monitor goals, allocate assignments, set short‑term priorities and ensure timely completion of work
  • Maintain clear communication between Ireland teams and Indian counterparts, keeping India partners updated on projects and changes
  • Provide technical expertise for new accounts/funds and oversee new accounts on an ongoing basis to meet client needs
  • Assist clients and partners with complex problem resolution and consult on effective solutions
  • Develop and enhance procedures for new situations, ensuring staff adherence
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports and analyze data
  • Review work for accuracy, communicate errors and guide corrective actions
  • Maintain technical knowledge of operations and related functions
  • Perform operational activities when volume or absence warrants
  • Ensure incident reporting is completed within required deadlines and implement preventative measures
  • Analyze errors and near misses to eliminate trends
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to presentations
  • Keep Accounts Servicing losses to a minimum
  • Own and manage operational risk events, escalations and remediation actions
  • Lead audit readiness and represent Settlements during audits to secure a pass rating
Skills / Experience
  • Thorough understanding of the funds administration business and day‑to‑day Transfer Agency operations
  • Significant track record in a management role within Transfer Agency/Shareholder Services
  • Proven people management and change management skills
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment for procedure and policy development
  • Demonstrated leadership, team‑building and motivational ability
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client‑servicing skills
  • Ability to lead and manage projects and system development as required
