Job summary

Advanced Energy in Little Island, Cork, Ireland is seeking an Engineering Manager for Future Technologies to guide a team of engineers in developing cutting-edge power solutions for medical devices from concept to commercialization.

You will work with customers, product management, and development teams to deliver innovations that improve patient outcomes and expand our medical product portfolio, with up to 20% travel and onsite requirements.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years minimum electronics development experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering projects and teams.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Proven experience in developing and executing project budgets.
• Proven innovation in technology and intellectual property.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• Honours Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years' minimum experience in an electronics development environment.
• Minimum 5 years' previous experience in leading/managing engineering projects and engineering teams.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Proven experience in developing and executing to project budgets.
• Proven innovation in technology and intellectual property.

WORK LOCATION

• Onsite at our Little Island, Cork, Ireland facility.
• The role will also include domestic and international travel of up to 20%.
