Azurity Pharmaceuticals - Ireland is seeking an experienced Copywriter to craft clear, compliant content for healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers across US and global brands. This hands-on, digital-first role works with Brand, Creative, Medical, Regulatory and Legal teams to translate strategy and approved claims into audience-tailored content.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated industry with familiarity with pharmaceutical review processes and FDA promotional requirements preferred.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs, brand strategies and approved claims.
  • Strong portfolio covering websites, social media, digital advertising, email and video.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information for HCP and patient audiences.
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEO/AEO, accessibility and digital content best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit branded and unbranded content for HCPs, patients, and caregivers.
  • Develop copy for websites, landing pages, social media, paid advertising, email, display banners, video scripts, interactive content and print materials.
  • Adapt campaign concepts and core materials into channel-specific content.
  • Turn complex medical and scientific information into clear, accessible language.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop content from concept to production.
  • Partner with regulatory experts to develop compliant promotional materials.
  • Support cohesive SEO and AEO strategy across brand content and enforce accessibility standards.
  • Maintain reusable messaging and approved content within content/design systems.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to support research, ideation, content adaptation, and QA with human oversight.
  • Manage several brands and projects with deadlines and priorities.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Copywriter to create clear, engaging and compliant content for healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers across our US and global pharmaceutical brand portfolio.

This is a hands‑on, primarily digital‑first role working closely with Brand, Creative, Medical, Regulatory, and Legal teams. The successful candidate will translate brand strategy, scientific information, and approved product claims into effective content tailored to specific audiences, channels, and stages of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and edit branded and unbranded content for HCPs, patients, and caregivers.
  • Develop copy for websites, landing pages, social media, paid advertising, email, display banners, video scripts, interactive content and short form print materials.
  • Adapt campaign concepts and core materials into channel‑specific content.
  • Turn complex medical and scientific information into clear, accessible, and engaging language.
  • Work with designers to develop content and creative together from initial concept through final production.
  • Partner with regulatory experts on the team to develop accurate and compliant promotional materials.
  • Help drive a cohesive SEO and AEO strategy across all brand content and enforce accessibility and digital‑content best practices.
  • Maintain reusable messaging, copy modules, and approved content within the team’s content and design systems.
  • Use AI‑assisted tools appropriately to support research, ideation, content adaptation, and quality assurance to ensure fast turnaround while maintaining human oversight.
  • Manage several brands and projects simultaneously, meeting agreed deadlines and priorities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a regulated industry is preferred with familiarity with pharmaceutical review processes and FDA promotional requirements strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs, brand strategies and approved claims.
  • Strong portfolio covering websites, social media, digital advertising, email and video.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information for HCP and patient audiences
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEO/AEO, accessibility and digital content best practices.
  • Understanding digital customer journeys, calls to action, SEO/AEO, and channel‑specific copy requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work in additional languages (Spanish, German or French) is a distinct advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, life sciences or a related discipline.
  • Post graduate or Professional Certification in Copywriting and/or Digital Copywriitng.
