Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Management Accountant for a long-established organisation headquartered in Co. Limerick. The role supports the Financial Controller across management and financial accounting duties in a permanent position.

The successful candidate will prepare monthly management and consolidated accounts, run balance sheet reconciliations, assist on audits, oversee risk and internal controls, and provide budgeting guidance while leading projects.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualified in a relevant discipline ideally.
• Fully qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA preferred.
• 3+ years industry experience ideally but candidates with a strong audit/practice profile will also be considered at a lower salary level.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Excellent attention to detail & inter-personal skills.
• Proven ability to work on your own initiative & deliver on individual as well as departmental projects.

Responsibilities

Management Accountant

Are you an experienced & fully qualified accountant with a solid industry profile who is now looking to take on an exciting new challenge in the Limerick region? Or have you recently completed your full qualifications in an audit/practice environment & are now looking to make the move to industry?

Our client, a long-established & high profile commercial organisation headquartered in Co. Limerick have have engaged with us in CPL to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their team & act a the primary support to the Financial Controller. This role is a permanent position & the successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the on-going success of the organisation so if you're interested please apply!

The Job:

As a key part of the finance team team you will work closely with the Financial Controller & cover a broad remit of duties across both management & financial accounting duties. More specifically this will include the preparation of the monthly management & consolidated group accounts, running balance sheet reconciliations, assisting on audit & compliance reporting, overseeing financial risk & internal controls analysis, liaising with the company secretary on relevant matters, providing financial guidance on commercial & budget goal setting, leading out your individual projects & supporting the wider operations team on their duties/projects when & where needed.

Your Skills/Experience that we need

The Offer:

Salary will depend on candidate skills & experience but is expected to range up to approx. 75k maximum + benefits. This role will be fully office based in Co. Limerick so candidates must be based in the region or willing to relocate here.
