Job summary

Trinny London in Limerick is seeking a Part Time Makeup Artist to join our team at Brown Thomas. You will greet customers, provide personalised consultations, demonstrate products, and drive sales for makeup and skincare. The role emphasizes excellent service, attractive displays, and maintaining a clean, welcoming counter.

The position offers part-time hours with competitive compensation and a friendly, fast-paced beauty environment. Previous retail experience in cosmetics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail position, ideally within beauty or cosmetics.
• Passionate for makeup and skincare.
• Experience with customer relationship management and data capture targets.
• Adaptable and confident with an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
• Positive and can-do attitude.
• Punctual and flexible to work retail hours, including bank holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the counter with exceptional service and guidance from introduction to sale.

• Demonstrate and recommend products to achieve desired looks.
• Conduct pre-booked customer makeup appointments.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting makeup and skincare products.
• Upsell and cross-sell related items to maximise sales.
• Collaborate with the team to reach sales goals.
• Keep makeup area organized, clean, and visually appealing.
