Trinny London is seeking an Assistant Counter Manager for our Arnotts concession in Dublin. You will report to the Business Manager and support day-to-day counter operations, drive sales, and ensure an industry-leading customer experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Manager in achieving store objectives and counters targets.
  • Lead monthly reviews and communicate goals to the team.
  • Motivate the team to meet performance targets.
  • Address attendance or conduct issues per company policy.
  • Ensure tills and transactions are handled accurately and securely.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and share with the team.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
  • Keep momentum and drive counter activity on the shop floor.
  • Assist with visual displays, merchandising and stock replenishment.
  • Support accurate physical inventory and loss prevention efforts.
  • Follow safety procedures and identify loss risks.
  • Complete manual stock counts fortnightly.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Support the Business Manager in achieving all business objectives and targets relevant to you counter
  • Assist in conducting monthly reviews to communicate objectives, set goals and measure progress, feeding back daily and at monthly team meetings
  • Motivate and drive your team to achieve performance targets
  • Proactively manage poor performance, addressing attendance or conduct issues in line with Trinny London expectations, utilising the appropriate procedures and support
  • Ensure teams are adequately trained and are able to process sales through tills, ensuring transactions are managed with due care and attention, in line with company policy and procedures
  • Retain up to date knowledge of our products, sharing this with your team in order to ensure we deliver an industry-leading experience and that the product meets the customer's needs
  • Ensure all team members are inspired to carry out their job role through training, coaching and follow up
  • Keep momentum and activity flowing on counter.
  • Assist in execution of visual displays, merchandising and marketing standards, ensuring the store is consistently replenished
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory as assigned
  • Follows all safety and emergency procedures
  • Identify potential loss prevention issues
  • To complete an accurate manual stock count fortnightly

Requirements

The key skills and experience required for this role are:

  • Experience at Supervisory, Team lead or Assistant Management of a retail team in luxury beauty
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent team work skills, the ability to collaborate and inspire
  • Operating with diligence and attention to detail, must be flexible and determined
  • Willingness to put in necessary work that is required to fulfil all the needs of the business
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and to adapt
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and be a creative problem solver
