Job summary

StandardAero is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to identify and maintain spare parts, perform preventative maintenance, and diagnose equipment breakdowns on site in Ireland. The role supports production on a shift basis and requires hands-on experience with pumps, motors, and grinding/milling equipment.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, be able to interpret technical manuals, and work safely under health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps, motors, grinding & milling machines.
• In-depth knowledge of a variety of machines with respect to maintenance and repair.
• Experience in pneumatic, hydraulics, mechanics, electrics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good team member skills.
• Well organised and able to organise tasks.
• Available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays as required.
• Qualification in Industrial Automated Technician advantageous or background in Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical and/or Electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain spare parts and tools to ensure timely maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repair optimal equipment as required by preventative maintenance schedules and suggest improvements.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure spare parts in stock for all major process’ and equipment.
• Supporting Production on a shift basis as required.
• Continuous improvement of production process equipment, by identifying and implementing improvement projects that will improve the operating effectiveness of equipment.
• Coordination and liaison with vendors, site contractors and external specialist contractors, engaged in work on site
• Performs maintenance in compliance with health and safety regulations, procedures and accepted practices.
• Reading, analysing and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, to carry out work.
• Communicating existing and potential issues with Supervisor/Maintenance Manager.
