Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Product Supply Unit in Waterford. You will work under the Engineering and Maintenance Team Lead to ensure reliable supply of syringe and vial products to patients worldwide.

The role focuses on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to GMP, with a 25/5 shift pattern on a 3-cycle 8-hour schedule. This fixed-term, full-time position offers exposure to high-speed manufacturing lines and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a highly regulated GMP environment.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Strong documentation generation and execution skills.
• Automation experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment across four Product Supply lines; diagnose faults and minimize downtime.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks in line with the site maintenance plan.
• Interpret engineering drawings to support repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP requirements.
• Respond to breakdowns and support line changeovers to restore equipment availability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Automation and Quality teams to resolve issues.
