Job description

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit a Maintenance Manager for their site in County Monaghan.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to take ownership of the site's maintenance function, driving engineering excellence, asset reliability and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you'll lead the maintenance team while developing engineering strategy, preventative maintenance systems and best practice across the site.

The Opportunity

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Maintenance Department
• Drive preventative maintenance, asset management and engineering best pratice
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts and contractor performance
• Lead, develop and support the maintenance teamWork closely with Production to maximise equipment reliability and minimise down time
• Support site projects, continuous improvement initiatives and engineering strategy
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental standards

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in a senior engineering or maintenance leadership role within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems, site utilities and infrastructure
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams, budgets and continuous improvement initiativesExcellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Electrical or Mechanical qualification (Level 3 minimum)
• A proactive approach with a passion for driving operational performance
