Job summary

Keogh’s Chips is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager in a busy food production facility in North County Dublin. You will perform mechanical, electrical and automation tasks, troubleshoot faults, and implement preventative maintenance to maximise line uptime.

The role covers night shifts (5 nights, 8:30pm–5:30am) with premium night rates, working closely with Quality and Production teams to ensure safety and compliance with food standards.

Qualifications

2–3 years' experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing.
Proven track record in preventative and reactive maintenance.
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
Excellent communication and understanding of safety standards.
Knowledge of current food manufacturing legislation and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical, electrical and basic building fabric maintenance.
Identify and remedy equipment issues to maximise uptime.
Service electrical and mechanical equipment.
Maintain maintenance checklists and perform preventative maintenance.
Assist and manage subcontractors; stock parts; mentor production team.
Collaborate with Quality for inspections and ensure health and safety compliance.
