Job summary

Noel Recruitment Incorporated Ltd. is recruiting a Maintenance Technician for a Westmeath-based metal manufacturer.

The role focuses on mechanical maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to sustain a world‑class production operation. You will work across rotating day/evening/night shifts, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement through fault-finding and project participation.

Qualifications

• Qualified maintenance technician or level 6 qualification.
• Previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate on rotating shifts – day, evening, night on a Monday to Friday basis.
• Be living in Westmeath or surrounding areas with own transport.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic issues with minimal downtime.
• Attend breakdowns, identify root causes, and action immediate corrective solutions.
• Lead and participate in projects.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Our client manufactures innovative products for customers worldwide and has a world-class manufacturing operation with significant investment in automation, technology, and advanced production processes.

They need someone with previous mechanical maintenance/ fitting experience who can maintain and troubleshoot issues with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
