Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a busy manufacturing environment in Cavan, Republic of Ireland. You will install, maintain and repair electrical systems and manufacturing equipment, with a strong focus on fault-finding, preventative maintenance and minimising downtime.

The role requires a recognised Electrical Trade Qualification and a minimum of 1 year’s experience in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician or recognised Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Minimum 1 year's experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of industrial machinery and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain electrical equipment and machinery.
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines.
• Support production to maximise equipment efficiency.
• Identify and resolve recurring faults and downtime.
• Work with internal teams and external contractors when required.
• Follow all health, safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Participate in shift work and scheduled on-call duties.
