Job summary

Responsibilities

• Играть активную роль в найме, наставничестве и карьерном развитии инженеров.
• Поднимать технические стандарты надежности и оперативной эффективности.
• Идентифицировать области, где ML может создавать ценность для клиентов.
• Формулировать продуктовые задачи как ML-проблемы в сотрудничестве с командами Product и Design.
• Проводить исследовательский анализ данных для понимания проблем.
• Искать подходящие алгоритмы и инструменты, балансируя прагматизм и инновации.
• Проводить оффлайн-оценки чтобы подтвердить работоспособность алгоритмов.

Fin provides businesses with AI-powered customer support through its AI Agent, which resolves customer issues across channels using proprietary AI models. It also integrates with the Intercom help desk to give support teams a unified system.

• Play an active role in hiring, mentoring, and career development of other engineers


• Raise technical standards for performance, reliability, and operational excellence


• Identify areas where machine learning can create value for customers


• Frame product problems as machine learning problems in collaboration with teammates and Product and Design stakeholders


• Conduct exploratory data analysis and research to understand problem areas


• Research and identify appropriate algorithms and tools, balancing pragmatism with innovation


• Perform offline evaluations to gather evidence that algorithms will work


• Work with engineers to bring prototypes into production


• Plan, measure, and share learnings to inform iteration


• Partner with the team and other stakeholders to build excellent machine learning products

Требования:

• 5–8 Years of applied machine learning experience


• Previous background in a senior or staff role in data science, software development, or academia


• Demonstrated significant impact on products and/or teams


• Strong programming skills


• Experience as the primary technical leader for a team


• Strong communication skills within engineering teams and across disciplines


• Comfort with ambiguity


• Typically, advanced education in machine learning or a related field, such as an MSc Scientific thinking skills
